Canadian Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra

The Canadian Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra is performing Bach And His World at Adelaide Town Hall on Tuesday 29 May. This will be a great concert! Come along and enjoy a fine night of beautiful music by one of the world’s greatest composers, alongside projected images with fascinating narration.

Step back into the age of Johann Sebastian Bach. With the help of 21st-century technology and expert research, experience his music on instruments of his own time, and explore the work of the artisans – papermakers, violin carvers, string spinners and performers – who helped him realise his musical genius.

Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra return to Australia with an enthralling new show. In Bach and His World, they draw on spoken word, stunning projected video and detailed images as well as their speciality in period instrument performance to bring an extra layer of meaning to the great music of Bach.

Tickets are available from Musica Viva Box Office (no booking fees) or through BASS (fees apply), and you can buy tickets on the night at Adelaide Town Hall.   1800 668 482   131 246
