  • Daedalus and Icarus - Daedalus was an inventor. Daedalus and his son, Icarus, are imprisoned. Daedalus makes wings out of feathers and wax for himself and his son to escape. Icarus flies too close to the sun. The wax in his wings melts, and he falls and drowns.
