Congratulations! This year your child is enrolled in advanced math through the Advanced Math Program (AMP) at Boulder Universal. This means during math time in the classroom, your child will log onto a Chromebook and learn math with BU virtually. During these daily sessions, students will participate in live interactive activities and group collaboration. It will be a fun school year!

The Advanced 1 math class includes all 6th-grade math curriculum and half of 7th-grade math curriculum.  This is an accelerated math class that allows students more opportunities to advance in math in middle school and high school levels and options to "off-ramp" if it is not a great fit for your child.

The Advanced Math Program (AMP) was created for students across the district in 2021.  We are excited to embark upon our third year of this program with your children.  With that said, each class period will have a mixture of students from several BVSD Elementary and K-8 schools. The math classes will meet LIVE Monday through Fridays as a group in a Google Meet with their BU math teachers.
