Meet Mrs. P

Hi! I'm Mrs. Peter. I've been teaching at Broomfield since 2005. I graduated from Colorado State University with my B.A. in English Education. In 2011, I finished my M.A. in Special Education: Gifted and Talented Education at the University of Northern Colorado. Then in 2012, I earned my National Board Certification. In 2015, I finished my M.A. in English Language/Bilingual Education at the University of Colorado. I love being a student, almost as  much as I love teaching. 

I spend as much time as I possibly can rediscovering the world through my son's and daughter's eyes and with my husband. As a family, we like to watch football, play sports, and to travel. 

When I'm not spending time with family and friends, I bury my nose in Young Adult literature. In fact, I  love YA lit so much that I started a blog in 2012 to share my opinions about the titles and to give students  the opportunity to share their reviews there too.
