This course is intended to give students a foundation of knowledge and experience to go forth and make good decisions regarding their wellness. Students will be guided toward looking at their overall wellness (body, mind, and soul) and how to achieve balance within the daily tasks of life. We will emphasize how regular fitness activities are critical to maintaining wellness, and will instruct students on basic training concepts, help them develop good fitness habits, culminating with each student creating and implementing their own fitness plan. Students will be encouraged to explore new fitness activities, expanding their options beyond activities they have done in their youth.
