As a teacher, my goal is to inspire a love of life-long learning in all of my students. I strive to bring relevant, real-world problem solving and critical thinking into the classroom.
I love working with students. This year will be my 14th year teaching high school mathematics. Prior to obtaining my masters degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics, I was an engineering student. I have an undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering from Cornell University and a graduate degree in Education from the College of William and Mary.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I am a competitive marathoner and love to chat about running. I also enjoy hiking and camping.
