Instrument Performance:

Performing on instruments will help each student understand the physical and tonal make up of all instrument families: strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion. If your child is in 5th grade they have advanced to the level of a full group string or wind instrument performance ensemble.

Singing:

Using your voice is a vital step to your child learning how to perform on any instrument. Naturally, the voice is our first instrument to use and hone at a young age. Moving, speaking and singing in various musical settings will foster a healthy understanding and appreciation for each type of music approached in the music classroom.
