Absences & Rainy Days

Absences:

• If your child will be absent from school, please notify the school: 408-923-1925.
• If your child is out sick for 5 or more days, please bring in a doctor's note.
• If your child is planning on not being in school for more than 5 days, please let the office staff know as soon as you can. You can fill out an independent work study contract. I will get together a work packet with directions. The packet is due the first day back to school.
• Please, please, please do not send your child to school if they are ill!
• Correction: If your child has vomited, they should be symptom free for 24 hours before coming back to school, not free from vomit after 2 solid meals.

Rainy Days:

During rainy days the cafeteria will be open for students. This is for drop off only. Parents are not allowed to walk their children into the cafeteria, nor are they allowed to stay in the cafeteria with them. It is a violation of fire safety laws to have too many people in the cafeteria at one time. There will be yard duty teachers in the cafeteria to help guide and seat your children in the appropriate areas where the teachers will pick them up. Thank you for your cooperation.
