My Background
My name is Mouriann Kleeh and I am a RSP Teacher within the Bellflower Unified School District. For the 2023-2024 school year, I will be providing my RSP services at Frank E. Woodruff for grades 2nd-6th. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to work alongside your children in helping them obtain their academic goals. I received my bachelors degree in both general education and mild to moderate disabilities. This gives me the ability to be a resource specialist, also known as RSP Teacher. As an RSP Teacher I believe that all children are capable of success with no exceptions! Moreover, RSP is a Special Education service (resource) for students with disabilities that need additional academic support to access the general education curriculum. I am also a resource and support for parents as well. Here is a quick video that breaks down the fundamentals of the Special Education as a whole. If you ever have any questions please feel free to email mouriannkleeh@busd.k12.ca.us or call me at (562)317-1349 and I will be happy to answer questions or assist in any way possible. Thank you and I look forward to meeting you this upcoming school year!
Teaching Philosophy
As an RSP teacher I believe that all children deserve an educational experience tailored to their specific needs. I believe all children cary unique skills, talents, and voice. It is my job as their RSP teacher to help them find those unique characteristics and carry them out into the world. Before students leave my classroom they will...
1. Embrace Learning
I will create fun and engaging learning activities.
I will model what it is to be passionate for your work.
I will link learning to students' everyday lives and interest.
I will incorporate a various amount of learning strategies and techniques.
2. Take Control of Their Own Learning Experience
Allow students to explore the world around them.
Allow students to experience a productive struggle.
Allow students to learn from their mistakes.
Allow students to lead their own learning and use me as a guide.
3. Respect and Appreciate Peoples' Differences
I will constantly feed them information about different people around the world.
I will encourage students to get to know their peers in the classroom.
I will show them the importance of embracing peoples' differences.
