This website contains a range of information to assist you in making your subject choices for 2023. As you read through the various sections, think about the kind of things you are good at, the things that you are interested in and consider any possible career pathways you may have in mind. A key part of course selection is for parents and caregivers to have conversations with their child(ren) around this.
The course choice portal, Schoolpoint, is used for course selection. Access to schoolpoint is through the KAMAR login. Click the 'course selection' tab at the top, once logged into KAMAR (all of this can be found on our website under parent login).
When students login they click on the 'courses I can select' section and they can see the courses available for them to choose for their year level. Students need to look at the information for each course.
Students need to check that they have the prerequisites for each course. Some courses are compulsory at each year level.
This year there will not be an on-site course selection evening. There are some helpful videos from each faculty area posted on this website to help make your choices. Course selection entries in School Point will open on Friday 5th August and is due to be completed by Friday 19th August.
If you need any further advice or guidance around course selection, please contact your Divisional Dean or the Careers Advisor, Mrs Doogan. Heads of Faculty and teachers are also able to advise about subject areas.
