MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of The Burlington Township Middle School Media Center is to meet the informational needs of the entire school community and to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished:

• by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats.
• by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.
• by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of every student.
• by providing a collection of instructional materials that support and contribute to the curriculum.
• by providing materials and reference services for the completion of class assignments, homework, and for individual personal growth.
• by providing a pleasant environment for the pursuit of both personal and educational excellence.
