The Burlington Players are a fun, friendly, all-volunteer community theater where everyone belongs. Open to adults 18+, we produce four shows a year, host community events, and offer tons of easy ways to jump in—onstage, backstage, or anywhere in between. No experience? No problem! We love curious beginners just as much as seasoned theater folks. All we require is showing up!
We also run youth classes for ages 7+ and create family-friendly fun through Winnmere Family Theater, making theater something our whole community can enjoy.
Our passion for art has produced great work amongst our members that we are proud of. Take a look at some examples below!
Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, Fun Home is a beautiful musical that will stay with you long after the lights come up.
When Alison Bechdel’s father dies unexpectedly, she dives into her past to unravel the story of the brilliant, volatile man whose secrets shaped her family — and her future. Moving between childhood memories and adult revelations, Alison relives her unique upbringing in the family’s funeral home ("Fun Home"), her coming-out journey in college, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father's hidden life.
With haunting music, sharp humor, and impactful moments, Fun Home is an honest, poignant, and refreshingly original musical about how we see our parents once we finally see ourselves.

Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Her chief adversary is her former employer, Arthur Roeder, an idealistic man who cannot bring himself to believe that the same element that shrinks tumors could have anything to do with the terrifying rash of illnesses among his employees.
