School Counselor
Welcome to the Forest Hill Elementary School Counselor page. My name is Mary Bailey and I am so happy to be serving Forest Hill Elementary as the school counselor this year. 

About me: 

My passion is making a positive difference and I love working with children and helping them see their worth. 

I have two kids; my daughter is a junior at Freedom High School and my son is in 8th grade at Table Rock Middle School. They are absolutely my pride and joy. 

I have four years of teaching experience and this will be my second year as a school counselor. I am so happy to be back at Forest Hill; this is where I completed my student teaching.

School Counselor's Role: 
I am above all here to support the students. School counselors follow the ASCA National Model, making sure all areas are met; social/emotional, academics, and career readiness. I will meet with the students individually, in small groups, and in classroom guidance lessons. I will advocate for the kids, support the parents, and assist as problems or concerns arise.
