Jackie Eveland

Jackie is entering her 13th year at Building Blocks Child Care Center.

Her time at BBCCC began as a student volunteer in the Kindergarten Enrichment program and shortly became the Kindergarten support teacher. 

Upon graduation, Jackie became the Lead AM Preschool teacher and continued to do that for 9 years. Aside from teaching, she was administrative support, under the former director, for several years and eventually became the Program Supervisor.

Jackie graduated from Washington State University. Originally majoring in Secondary Health & Fitness Education, she received her B.S. in Kinesiology through the College of Education. After graduating from W.S.U, she attended Spokane Falls Community college, taking a year-long Early Childhood seminar.

Jackie is a certified Toddler and Pre-K CLASS observer, utilizing this certification to keep on top of positive child/teacher interactions within BBCCC.

She is also a wife and a mother to two young children, an 8 year old daughter in 3rd grade and a 4.5 year old son, currently in the Pre-Kindergarten room.

Kerri Jo Staniszewski
 Kerri Jo established Building Blocks Child Care over 17 years ago, in 1998.

She graduated from Washington State University,receiving a B.A. in Elementary Education, but found her passion in Early Childhood Education and providing quality care for families on the Palouse.

Aside from operating Building Blocks Child Care, Kerri also served as a STARS trainer, teaching many ECE professionals the required basic 30 hours to teach in licensed child care facilities. 

Prior to opening BBCCC, Kerri Jo served as an assistant director and taught Preschool for a center in California , and filled a similar role for another local, former center when she moved back to Pullman.

Miley Han

Miley has began volunteering with us the winter of 2015 and officially started working with us the spring of 2016 as a substitute and support teacher in our Kindergarten and Waddler rooms.

She received her degree in Business English from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, leading into a career in Education.

Miley first taught children English at a summer camp and realized her love for teaching, so she began working on her Shanghai K-5 Teacher's certification while also teaching Kindergarten. This lead to working in the Early Childhood Field at an international school.

Miley resides in Pullman with her husband, 3rd grade daughter and 1 year old son.

Waddler Room
Lauri Fort

Lauri started as our Assistant Lead Preschool Teacher June of 2015.

She graduated from Washington State University, receiving her degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.

Prior to working at Building Blocks, Lauri gained experience working at other local centers as an assistant teacher. She is also a mother to a young toddler, making her the perfect leader in our older infant room!

Bre Bielenberg

Bre came to us last winter from another center in Moscow, where she was the lead infant teacher. She joined our team as a substitute and support teacher and eventually took a long-term substitute position in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. 

She is currently working on her degree in Early Childhood Education, as she has found her passion working with ECE field!

Neah Lynch

Neah has been with us since 2013, when she began as a WSU student volunteer in the infant room. 

While at WSU, Neah was working toward her degree in Human Development, specializing in Early Childhood Education. Before her student teaching semester,, she took a break from school and decided to work full-time to figure out if ECE was her passion...and it is!

Tiffany Pedersen

Tiffany has been with Building Blocks since the summer of 2015

She graduated from University of Idaho, receiving her degree in Psychology. She also has her Child Development Associates Credential.Tiffany has been in the child care industry for over a decade. She has worked at various centers in North Idaho, including a NAEYC accredited facility.

Tiffany resides in Pullman with her husband, Andy, and her sweet  1 year old daughter, Luiella!

Aubrey Reynolds

Aubrey just recently returned to Building Blocks this past spring. Prior to her return, she had been with us for over 8 years.
Aubrey started as a support teacher in the infant room, became our Assistant Lead teacher in the Waddler and Toddler Room and eventually becoming the lead teacher for the Toddler Room. 

She currently has her Child Development Associates Credential (CDA). The reason for Aubrey's departure was to pursue her Elementary Education degree at Lewis-Clark State College. After pursuing that field for over year, Aubrey was able to validate her want to educate children, but realized her true passion is in Early Childhood Education.

Brittney Nielsen

Brittney has been part of our Building Blocks family for several a parent! She has an infant son, Pre-Kindergartner and a 4th grader that attend BBCCC. When the school-age lead teaching position opened at the conclusion of the summer, Brittney was excited for the opportunity to partner with other parents to guide their children's before and after school activities. 

She is currently working on her degree at LCSC, but is taking a break this semester to be able to spend more time with her children.
