Her time at BBCCC began in 2002, as a WSU student volunteer in the Kindergarten Enrichment program. Shortly after her volunteer experience, she became a support teacher, primarily, the Kindergarten support teacher.
Upon graduation, Jackie became the Lead AM Preschool teacher and continued to do that for 9 years. Aside from teaching, she was administrative support, under the former director, for several years and eventually became the Program Supervisor.
Jackie graduated from Washington State University. Originally majoring in Secondary Health & Fitness Education, she received her B.S. in Kinesiology through the College of Education. After graduating from W.S.U, she attended Spokane Falls Community college, taking a year-long Early Childhood seminar.
Jackie held a certification as a Toddler and Pre-K CLASS observer, in effort to educate her teachers on positive child/teacher interactions within BBCCC.
She is also a wife and a mother to two young children, who have gone through the program and are now students at Franklin Elementary.
