SENIORS 

 MEMO TO SENIORS and Parents/Guardians of Seniors

Senior GOOGLE CLASSROOM - All members of the senior class should have already joined the Google Classroom via the link sent in your school email.  Ask your Flex teacher for assistance if you have not done so or cannot access it.  Seniors should also add the email contact for their guardian in Classroom in order for email summaries and updates to be sent home.

1. Senior Information Form - Each senior is asked to submit a form in the Google Senior Classroom. This includes some basic information and school activities listing your full name, a nickname if applicable, future goals, extracurricular and school activities for inclusion in the yearbook. Please submit material that is school appropriate or it will be edited out. Due Date: OCTOBER 15th 

2. Senior Portrait Photo Upload - due NOVEMBER 1st via Google Classroom .  Outside photographers may email a senior photo but be sure it is a jpeg file that is labeled with the students full last name, first name.  Subject: Senior Photo Email: dragonyearbook@brunswicksd.org. 

Student school photos taken by Lifetouch for school ID cards will be included in the yearbook if a senior does not submit a photo. ( Seniors not submitting a portrait may have a school Lifetouch photograph from a prior school year included as determined by the senior yearbook Editor.)  

Photos must meet the following requirements:

• All photos and image files must be labeled– LAST NAME, First Name.  

• All photos must meet our dress code requirements and be school appropriate.

• Photographs can be color or black and white. 

• Portrait photos must be submitted in a vertical format - not landscape/horizontal.

• Avoid bright sunlight, dark shadows over the face, backlight coming from behind the head and distracting backgrounds.

• Digital images must be jpg files – Image resolution must be 300 ppi/dpi (1.2mb)  not downloaded from internet sites such as: facebook, twitter, instagram etc. ( If your electronic device gives you an option regarding which image size to send, always select "Actual Size" so that the best resolution image is submitted for printing.)

3. Senior Recognition Ads - (see FLYER above

Parents, guardians, family and friends of seniors may purchase advertising space in the yearbook to submit baby photos and a personalized message using the Jostens Online Ad creator. This section is first come first serve! The final deadline for the ads is February or until the allotted pages are full.  Sign IN here to create an ad.  

4. Senior Superlatives – Students will vote in the senior classroom to select their peers for various categories, probably in November. Info will be posted to Classroom for seniors and posted in Daily News. 

5. Senior Flashback – Students and parents and guardians will be invited to submit flashback group photos of seniors from their younger school days.  Info will be emailed to seniors with a google form link and more info will be posted in the Daily News. A call for these photos will be posted. Images will be included as per the student editors discretion and space availability. Subject: FLASHBACK photos. Photos may be emailed to: dragonyearbook@brunswicksd.org. DEADLINE January 1st.
