I am Mrs. Bouman and I teach Kindergarten at Brookside Elementary. This currently is my forth year teaching and I am loving it! This will be my third year teaching kindergarten, this is by far my favorite age to teach. A little bit about me! I am a Big Rapids Graduate (2011). Born and raised a Big Rapids resident, I call this town HOME! It means so much to me that I am teaching in the elementary school I once attended. I met my husband when we were 5, playing on the same soccer team. We didn't start dating until our senior year of high school. We have been together since 2011 and got married in 2019! Mr. Bouman (Ryan) is the best support system and the mastermind behind all of my "projects". We have a Goldendoodle, that we love dearly. Ruger loves to spend time with us outside. His favorite activity is swimming, he can't get enough of the water! Our newest adventure is parenthood! We welcomed our son Rhett in March. It has been so nice to spend the summer with him and watch him grow.
