Aimee Vue '18

President

Aimee joined the Brown Club of Minnesota as the co-president in 2019. Aimee graduated from Brown in 2018 with a degree in visual art. While in school, she was a part of the Outdoor Leadership Environmental Education Program, Minority Peer Counselor, a Department Undergraduate Group Leader, and was a part of the 2018 Nelson Entrepreneurship Center Breakthrough Lab cohort working on a food venture. 

Aimee Vue is a Senior Consultant, Strategy and Research at Fathom Consulting, where she has made her mark with empathetic facilitation and a passion for design thinking. She has an executive certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in Social Innovation Design and a BA from Brown University. With a background consulting for non-profits and foundations, developing youth engagement innovation, and working in at the MN State Legislature, Aimee's diverse experiences have shaped her into a versatile strategist. Her genuine connection with people and infectious energy have earned her praise from both non-profit and Fortune 500 clients as she drives human-centric research and strategy engagements. Whether she's riding her e-bike along the Mississippi River or facilitating people through design thinking processes, Aimee's enthusiasm and expertise shine through in everything she does.

Gretchen Wheelwright '56

Treasurer

Gretchen graduated from Brown with an A.B. degree in English and American literature. She received an M.A. degree in English from the University of Minnesota, teaching credentials from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. 

She was a teacher, high school principal, and college professor for 35 years in California before retiring and returning to her native Minnesota to marry her husband Lou Harris.
