Ever wonder how Brown sets things up for the biggest party in Providence? Watch the time lapse to see how!
Reunion classes and recent grads (Classes of 2019–2022) are invited to Brown's Stadium area for an Ocean State–themed block party. Complete with food trucks, a 21+ beer garden, summertime tunes, Del's lemonade, and activities for the young and young-at-heart, this family-friendly celebration has a little something for everyone.
One of Brown’s oldest and greatest traditions, the Procession brings together the entire Brown community. The Class of '93 will march together —passing by University Hall—through the Van Wickle Gates, and down College Hill. After the last person goes through the Van Wickle Gates, the procession inverts and undergraduates continue down College Street.
The procession steps off promptly at 9:45 a.m. from Waterman Street, north of Faunce Arch. The Class of '93 should assemble in the assigned class location on George Street by 9:30 a.m.
OUR FIGHT SONG
Ever True To Brown, by Donald Jackson, Class of 1909
TRADITIONAL
UNOFFICIAL
We are ever true to Brown,
For we love our college dear,
And wherever we may go,
We are ready with a cheer,
And the people always say,
That you can't outshine Brown Men,
With their Rah! Rah! Rah!
And their Ki! Yi! Yi!
And their B-R-O-double U-N!
We are ever true to Brown,
For we love our college dear,
And wherever we may go, (Where are we going?)
We are ready with a beer,
And the people always say, (What do they say?)
That you can't outdrink Brown Men, (and Women!)
With a scotch and rye,
And a whiskey dry,
And a B-O-U-R-B-O-N!
