Bonus points if you can name this animal. Not the human ~ the other one
Hello!
My name is Sonya (pronounced Sawn-ya) Piper. I have been at Kitsap Lake Elementary, teaching in the Highly Capable Program, since the 2007-08 school year and have loved it every minute.
I am originally from Kansas, where I graduated from Kansas State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I also have a M. A. in Curriculum and Instruction. Before coming to Washington, I lived in the San Jose Area in California where I taught at Burnett Elementary School in Milpitas.
I am a proud author of a published musical titled Science Fair Spectacular (I had nothing to do with the music). I recently became a certified Mt. St. Helens Naturalist Volunteer. I love the outdoors and am fascinated with and love to learn about science.
My family consists of me and my daughter, who is attending Olympic College this year.
