Celebrating Birthdays in Mrs. Arencibia’s Class

When your child has a birthday coming up, it's an exciting time. Birthdays are joyfully celebrated on the child’s actual birth date, if possible. It works best for the students’ schedule to do so from 2:00-2:15, allowing approximately 15 minutes. If the birthday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, we can celebrate on either the Monday following, or the Friday prior to the birth date.

When your child’s birthday is approaching, if you wish to visit, please contact me a few weeks in advance so that I can set aside time for you. We welcome you to come in to read a story to the class, though this is completely optional.

Side notes:

Please bring a quick story to share.

Kindly remember that Whiton School does not permit treats, party invites or goodie bags to be distributed in school.

Per the handbooks, students may NOT have siblings pulled from school/class to come in for a birthday. It also works best to leave younger siblings at home.

Even if you cannot visit, we will still read a story of your child's choice in class.

We look forward to celebrating your child’s special day!
