I firmly believe that life-long success depends on self-discipline, I have developed a Classroom Discipline Plan that affords every student the opportunity to manage his or her own behavior. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for academic growth. Therefore, this plan will be in effect at all times in our classroom.
Classroom Rules:
Follow directions 1st time given
Work hard and always do your best
Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself
Make smart choices
Work quietly and do not disturb others
Show respect for school and personal property
Work and play in a safe manner
Diamond Rule: Keep your eye on the target
To encourage students to follow the classroom rules, I will reinforce appropriate behavior with verbal praise, free time in class, and distributing gold slips.
If a student chooses to break a rule, they will follow these consequences:
Verbal warning
Lose 10 minutes of play
Detention from play
Send to the Principal
