2020-21 ATHLETICS REGISTRATION 

IHSA SPORTS PHYSICAL FORM HERE
**All BHS Athletes are urged to get their sports physicals ASAP**
PLEASE drop off sports physicals at BHS Main or Athletic Office, fax to 630-937-8602 or email/scan to julie.stuttle@bps101.net (do not give to coaches).

The following three steps must be completed in order to be eligible to participate in BHS Athletics:

1. REGISTER FOR ATHLETICS 
(This is a separate process from BPS powerschool registration)

Parent/guardian must complete and submit the above form in order to register your son/daughter for athletics at Batavia High School.  Please register each child individually.  Due to the IHSA adjusting their sports seasons because of the COVID-19 pandemic we will be having seasonal registration.  If you participate in more than one season will need to re-register for each season.

Above form includes emergency contact info, parent consent and verification that parent/guardian and your son/daughter have reviewed all required registration documents.  

2. PROVIDE BHS WITH A CURRENT PHYSICAL

Special Note for Freshmen:
Freshmen are not required to have a separate sports physical in order to participate for BHS athletics.  The regular school physical that is required to enroll in high school satisfies this requirement as long as it is current.  Should it expire during their season, they will require an updated sports physical.  Otherwise, this is the only document that Freshmen do not need to turn in.

Directions for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: 
Sophomores through Seniors, must have a current physical on file in order to participate.  A physical is good for 13 months, any physical older than 395 days is invalid and will not be accepted.  


Please drop off completed IHSA sports physicals to the BHS athletic office 
once we re-open to the community. Please DO NOT misplace them!


3. PAY THE PARTICIPATION FEE

Prior to the start of your athletic season, all participation fees need to be paid in one of two ways:
  • online through PowerSchool 
  • check made out to Batavia High School ($154.00) and dropped off to the Athletic Office at Batavia High School. 
Please note that solely paying for athletic fees does not fully register your son/daughter for athletics at BHS.  The above three steps must also be completed in order to fully register your son/daughter for athletics at BHS.

Parent/guardian can pay for all sports their son/daughter may choose to participate in at the beginning of the school year.  However, do not pay in advance for any sport that requires tryouts and subsequently may cut applicants. The following sports conduct tryouts with possible cuts:
  • Volleyball
  • Boys & Girls Golf
  • Boys & Girls Tennis
  • Boys & Girls Soccer
  • Boys & Girls Basketball
  • Competitive Cheer
  • Competitive Dance
  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Lacrosse
