About Rebecca Draayer

I have been married since 2004 to my high school sweetheart, Jon. We have a son, Josiah, and a daughter, Jonna, and they are our pride and joy! We attend Tabernacle Baptist Church in George. In my spare time, I enjoy playing games with my kids, reading, and hanging out with my family and friends.

Educational Background:

I am a graduate of Boyden-Hull High School class of 2001. In 2006, I graduated from Northwestern College with my Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a K-8 reading endorsement. I went on to get my middle school endorsement from Morningside College in 2009.

Teaching Experience:

I am in my 11th year at BH middle school.

Current Teaching Assignment:

For 8 years at BH I taught 7th & 8th grade English Language Arts. I am currently in my third year as the district's literacy coach.
