Find our preliminary 2026 Spring Sports schedules above on the Schedules tab.  The first day for high school spring sports is Monday March 30, 2026.

March 13, 2026 - We are BE Proud! The Frank J. Gaziano Memorial Offensive and Defensive Lineman Awards are presented annually to the Maine high school football offensive and defensive linemen who epitomize the character, leadership, and perseverance of Frank J. Gaziano.  

We are BE proud of senior John Havu for being selected for the 2025 Gaziano Award.  The award was presented to John in the BEHS lobby to honor this prestigious award. You can check out the trophy in our main office!  Find more information about this award - click here.  Congratulations, John!

Congratulations to our 2025 Boys Tennis Team - recipients of the MPA Sportsmanship Award - receiving the award at the State Tennis Match at Bates on June 11.  Scot Pride!

Register your student athlete for high school sports by clicking on the Athletic Registration link above.  Have health insurance card handy to upload and date of physical exam ready for entry. Current physical exams may be faxed to us also at 207-910-2773.

For Sports Participation - Student Athletes must -

• have proof of current physical exam on file in Health Services

• have health insurance coverage and upload to online registration

• enrolled in at least 4 credit earned classes

• have at least 4 passing grades from the previous grading period

• complete the online registration

BEHS Sports and Seasons:

FALL (Aug.-Nov.)- FOOTBALL, CHEERLEADING, SOCCER, FIELD HOCKEY, CROSS COUNTRY, GOLF, & VOLLEYBALL

WINTER (Nov.-March) - BASKETBALL, CHEERLEADING, INDOOR TRACK, ICE HOCKEY, SWIM, WRESTLING & UNIFIED BASKETBALL 

SPRING (March-June) - BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, LACROSSE, TENNIS, OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
