2026-2027 Borah Orchestra Calendar Dates
Students should expect to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time, in concert dress, for each event. We try our best not to change concert dates after the start of the school year, but sometimes there are unforseen circumstances. We appreciate your flexibility. Any changes will be listed below in RED and a communication will be sent out via email.
*Concert Dates (all concerts will be held at Borah HS Auditorium - unless otherwise noted)
August 12th - First Day of School - Early Release & Picture Day
August 24th - Back to School Night, 6pm
September 7th - Labor Day - No School
October 15th - Music Department Pictures (wear or bring concert black)
October 9th - No School / teacher work day
October 13-14th - Parent Teacher Conferences 4-7pm
October 16th - No School
October 29th - 7pm – Fall Concert - Borah Auditorium
November 3rd - Election Day - No School
November 5th & 6th – DIII Large Group Festival (TBA) - Centennial HS Auditorium
November 12th - 7pm Borah Quad Concert with South and West Jr. High Schools
November 21-29th - Thanksgiving Break - No School
December 14th - Afterschool rehearsal 3:30 - 4:30pm
December 16th - 7pm – Borah Music Department Holiday Concert
December 18th - Early Release - Winter Break
December 22nd - Jan 4th - Winter Break - No School
January 18th - MLK Day - No School
February 3-6th - IMEA - ALL STATE Music Conference in Pocatello
February 15th - President's Day - No School
March 9th - 7pm - Orchestra Solo & Ensemble Concert - Borah Auditorium
March *TBA* - District III Solo & Ensemble Festival
March 13th-21st - Spring Break - No School
April 28th or 29th, (TBA) 7pm – Borah Pops / Awards Concert - Borah Auditorium
April 30 - May 1st - State Solo and Ensemble Competition
May 18th - No School / teacher work day
May TBA* 7pm – Borah Graduation (Band + Orchestra Sophomores and Juniors will perform)
May 21st - Last Day of School - Early Release
