About Me

This will be my 8th year teaching AP Human Geography, and every year has been a different ride. I am coming into my 11th year of teaching at Les Bois. I graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in History with a minor in English. Following my undergraduate degree, I got my Secondary Education Certificate from Boise State University. I also hold a Geography endorsement, and in 2017, I participated in the Boise State Writing Project. At Les Bois, I have taught English 7, Reading 7, U.S. History 9, AP Human Geography 9, and Academic Support. 

The students who know me know that I love the mountains and traveling. I love snowboarding and mountaineering during my free time. Fun facts: I have climbed 15 big mountains and have climbed all 9 of Idaho's 12,000 ft peaks. I have also visited 22 countries and counting. I have been married for 13 years, and we have 2 dogs together - Roo and Walter. All I can say is that life is good!
