About Mrs. Cummings

Welcome to the Frazier Art Room's website! My name is Ashley Cummings and I am going into my 10th year of teaching Art here at Frazier Elementary. Frazier and BISD have been so good to me! I believe I have the BEST job in the world! In our art room we focus not only on the elements and principals of Art ; we also like to celebrate and encourage each other in all our artistic endeavors.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Art has always been apart of my life, and I have loved photography since I received my first camera for my 6th birthday. After high school I attended Texas State University. While there I received the opportunity to study art history and photography abroad in Florence, Italy. Upon graduation I earned my BFA in .Digital Photography. My first job was here at Frazier, and I have loved every day. I spend most of my spare time with my lovely little family.

I love art and celebrating difference and individuality with my students. My hope for my little artists is when they leave me they have : the confidence to be themselves and ability to turn their mistakes into "Beautiful Oops" .
