Great Thanksgiving Listen

Over Thanksgiving weekend, take some time to LISTEN to the stories of your elders.

Assignment:

Select an important person in your life (preferably 40 years older than you).

Use the "Great Questions List" to select at least 10 questions you plan to ask this person, filling out the pre-interview worksheet as you do. (Pre-Interview Worksheet due Monday 11/30/15)

Next, you will download the app for storycorps from the appropriate app store:

Use the directions handout to create a test file prior to your actual interview.

On the day of your interview, use the hints and tips to make the interview and upload go more smoothly. Open the app on your "smart" device, and record the interview with your elder. As you upload the final interview, fill out the information on the upload worksheet.

Once you have uploaded your interview, you will receive a notification of your submission. Take a screen capture, and email that picture to Mrs. Cerise or forward the email from storycorps to Mrs. Cerise.
