Balanced Math Program
Research supports a balanced math program. Therefore, it is important that BPS educators are engaging students in conceptual knowledge (making sense of math), procedural knowledge (skills, facts, procedures), and application of the math to new situations. The standards support this balance, emphasizing the importance of all 3 of these components.
