In English 10 you will: read, write—journals, essays, papers, etc., take reading quizzes, do vocabulary (crosswords), do slideshow presentations, work with literary terms, practice Regents style essays, work with poetry, and much more.
In addition, you will work in both small and large groups, pairs, and individually. Frequently, literature circles & writing groups/partners will be used for reading, discussing, sharing, and analyzing material. Students will be using their Chromebooks throughout the course.
Aggregate Points Grading: Quizzes, tests & major assessments (including class participation), and homework. (Re-writes & extra credit options may be available).
