Beekeeper Education 

• We teach and encourage informed methods of beekeepers by sharing research- and artisan-based techniques.

• We promote cooperation and sharing of techniques and decision-making.

• We discuss challenges and propose possible solutions, including testing new equipment and beekeeping techniques.

• We maintain a relationship with the North Carolina Beekeepers Association.

Community Education & Awareness

• We increase awareness of honey bees and the beekeeping industry among the general public.

• We provide educational opportunities to potential beekeepers and the community at large.

• We provide opportunities for school-aged children to explore the world of honey bees and the role they play in our community.
