About Mr. William Chapman:

I was born and raised in the great town of Eddington, Maine. I graduated from a college preparatory school in Bangor, ME called John Bapst Memorial High School. I attended St. Joseph's College of Maine where I received my BS in Physical Education with a concentration in teaching, while also playing four years of baseball. After graduation I received my first teaching position at Sanborn Regional HS as a Wellness I & II teacher, jv soccer, freshman basketball, and varsity baseball coach for three years. I chose Bedford as my next teaching adventure and I have been teaching Physical Education at McKelvie for the last 10 years. I have also coached the varsity baseball team at Bedford High School for eight years. I have recently received my masters degree from Concordia University in coaching and athletic administration.

This past summer I married the love of my life, and Riddle Brook's newest 4th grade teacher, Sara Chapman. Together we have four boys (Bradley, Owen, Nathan, and Liam) that keep us very busy, and 4 months ago we added a daughter named Abigail.

Make-up: Assignments missed due to absences or band can be made up before or after school by appointment, or during lunch and recess.
