Please take a look at the skills for the 4th Quarter, and review those not yet mastered. How is your child doing?

Report Card Skills for 1st Nine Weeks
Language Arts
Recites short poems, rhymes, songs and stories
Writes using pictures.
Writes left to right, top to bottom
Prints first name using a model, Capital 1st letter and rest lowercase (John, not JOHN)
Identifies upper and lowercase letters and produces/gives sounds for letters taught:

Matches # to set to 5
Counts to 10

Math

Counts to 25
Writes number for sets to 10
Identifies sets 0-10 as more, less, or equal
Counts backwards from any number 0 to 10

Matches numbers to sets to 20
Counts to 100
Compares objects by length, height, weight, temperature, volume and time
Models and solves addition problems using sums up to 10
Models and solves subtraction problems using differences within 10
