Gabriel Sala is a doctoral student in Organization Studies in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He is interested how people connect to and become the best at what they do. His research interest includes identity, trust, relationships, and emotions and the way these topics guide individuals and groups behavior in organizations. His current projects include an ethnographic project on trust repair among Special Forces’ operatives and a qualitative study of identity and relationships evolutions with an elite hotel concierge association.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Gabriel has had work experiences in recruitment consulting (in Paris, France) and in marketing (in Shanghai, China). Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Management from EMLYON Business School in Lyon, France, with a specialization in Organizational Behavior. He conducted research on the regulation of anxiety among Special Forces’ operatives.
