About Our Class

Lunch Numbers - Your child has a four digit number that they will use each time they go to breakfast or lunch. You will find that number on a white sheet. Please help them memorize this number.

Milk – Kindergartners eating cold lunch will pay $.45 for milk. This money will be deducted from your family lunch account.

Two Choices for Lunch – This year’s food service is offering two different choices for hot lunch. Your child will need to decide which entrée they will eat. Two of the daily choices are listed on the daily menu which is being sent home. If your child is eating hot lunch on Tuesday, September 4.They will need to decide if they want a cheeseburger or a deli sub.

Book Order due Friday, September 7.

Birthdays – We will celebrate your child’s birthday in our classroom. If your child’s birthday is during the summer we will celebrate their ½ birthday. Example – If your child’s birthday is July 21, we will celebrate their birthday on January 21. Your child is welcome to bring treats for the class. Treats must be store bought.

Printing Names – Please help your child practice printing their name on the “street”. Most of the letters do not go in the ditch. The first letter should be capitalized and the other letters should be small. After your child completes the name paper send it back to school and your child will be rewarded.

Home/School Folder

Your child has a blue Jaguar folder in their mailbox. The students will be expected to bring this folder to school each day. They will use it to bring home their daily work and any important information for you. Please check this folder each evening. Each morning the students will be expected to take it out of their backpacks and check for any notes or things to give to their teacher or the office.

Kindergarten Family Fun Sheets

Each Friday your child will be bringing home a Kindergarten Family Fun Sheet. It will have games and activities to do with your child to reinforce the skills we are working on in our classroom. It will also include messages from me and a comment section for you to write notes to me. This sheet needs to be completed and returned by the next Friday. Your child will receive prizes for completing this.
