Parent Portal/Focus Gradebook

Step 2: Click on the top left link: Bay Haven Charter Academy K-8

Step 3: Click on "For Parents"

Step 4: Click on "Parent Portal Registration (Focus)" on the right side of the screen

Step 5: Click on the link: I DO NOT have an Account Registered on the Parent Portal but my child is Actively Enrolled

Step 6: Enter your name exactly as it appears on your driver's license and a valid email address. (submit)

Step 7: Enter your student's ID # ___________, along with DOB. Click on "Add Student".

Step 8: Please call the front office at (850) - 248-3500 to get access. Name must match the parents name on the Blue Emergency Card.

On this website, you will find your student's grades, attendance records, and other important information. If you see a small icon of a notebook paper next to an assignment, this indicates a message from me about your student's assignment. For example, when a student does not complete an assignment, they are to fill out a "pink slip" This slip explains to me in private why the assignment was not completed. This gives the student privacy and speeds up the grading process. I then transfer the explanation into Focus assignment. It will state something to the effect of "Mon HW incomplete. Student explained (insert student explanation from pink slip).
