IFCA SCHOLARSHIP RULES AND CONDITIONS
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AWARD IS TO ASSIST IN THE PREPARATION OF COLLEGE FOR OUTSTANDING STUDENT-ATHLETES..
A candidate must be a high school senior and played football his senior year.
The award is made for the freshman year only.
Applicants must be Iowa residents and must enroll in an accredited Iowa Junior College, College or University prior to October 1st in the year the award is made. Otherwise, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to an alternate.
The award will be in the form of a check payable to the college on behalf of the winner. The award will be presented to each recipient at their school at a ceremony agreed upon by the IFCA and the school.
The winner will be notified by April 15th.
Completed applications must be received no later than March 31, 2026.

A paper written by you entitled “What playing high school football in Iowa taught me?.”
A summary of all activities in which you have participated in high school
A copy of your official high school transcript and any standardized test scores (ACT, SAT, etc.)
A recent photograph.
A description of any special financial circumstances that may affect your ability to pursue a career in education.
A sheet summarizing your high school (grades 9–12) football playing experience, including level played at, years lettered, starting status for each year and any awards or recognition received.
