Bath Charter Township established a Downtown Development Authority to help generate economic activity within the DDA District Area. The designated DDA district (from I-69 Interchange along Webster heading north to Sleight Road including the downtown Bath area and includes primarily frontage properties along the Webster corridor) is contained within the Township Activity Center which proposes a future land use pattern and implementation tools which focuses on creating a sense of place and a focal point for the community. The DDA will be instrumental in implementing goals for the Township Activity Center by providing a plan for economic development, investment, and creating a sense of place within the corridor. The township realized that the current DDA district has been underutilized and needs revitalization efforts to help jumpstart economic development initiatives that will drive investment within the community. The DDA will help promote economic growth and prosperity that will create a sense of place and amenities for Bath Township residents and patrons of the community.
