Tout de Moi

Bonjour!

I am Brittany McCamley(LeCouvre), and I am the French teacher for the Bellefonte Area School District. I have been teaching with Bellefonte since the 2013-2014 school year, and I look forward to many more years to come!

I am local to the area, and graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies. During my time at Penn State, I was fortunate enough to spend an academic year in Montpellier, France. After Penn State, I made my way to Bloomsburg University where I received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. While earning my Master's, I subbed for the Williamsport Area School District, and then completed my Student Teaching Practicum with the South Williamsport Area School District.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Daniel LeCouvre- who my students lovingly refer to as just "Dan." Our daughter, and light of our lives, Eloise was born in October of 2018. We are so happy to announce that we are expecting again in January 2022! We live in Pleasant Gap with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. In addition to my apparent love of animals, I love cooking, baking, and entertaining. I also love to read and go to the movies. I also have a deep love of all things Harry Potter. It will come as no surprise that I am an avid traveler, and can include countries like France, Canada, Germany, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico and Panama in my repertoire. In 2016, the Spanish teachers and I were fortunate enough to take 40 Bellefonte students to France and Spain - and the experience was more wonderful than words could ever describe.

Please feel free to reach out to me at any time!
