High school might seem far away but it will be here before you know it! I like to think of middle school as "training for a marathon." With lots of good work habits and practice (your "training), you can enter high school feeling prepared to do your best (the "marathon")!
EVERYTHING that you do in middle school is preparing you for high school and graduation! One of the best things you can do is develop strong work and study habits.

English Language Arts – 4 credits
Mathematics – 3 credits at Algebra I and above
Science – 3 credits - scientific inquiry (2 with lab experiences)
Social Sciences – 3 credits
Career and Technical Education, The Arts, and/or Second Language – 3 credits (any one area or in combination)
Physical Education – 1 credit
Health Education – 1 credit
Electives – 6 credits
