A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa. I graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) in 2013. I began my teaching career with the Ballard Community School District in 2015, teaching first grade. Then in fall of 2022 I moved to Ballard Middle School to teach 6th Grade English Language Arts.

I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my nephews who also attend Ballard! I live in Ames with my dog, Zeke, and my husband Dylan. We were married in August 2024. We're both big Iowa State fans and love cheering them on year round!

Some of my other favorite pastimes include reading, arts & crafts, and running.
