Hello,My name is Linda McCormick. I am a reading interventionist at Ballard West Elementary. I'm excited for another year at Ballard.

Educacation/Background:

I am a graduate of Iowa State University. I began teaching at Ballard West Elementary as a fifth grade teacher. Then I moved to fourth grade at East. A small 4th grade class the following year required that I move to first grade for my third year of teaching. I decided to stay in first grade where I remained for nine years. During that time I earned my early childhood degree through Upper Iowa University. Second grade was the next move. I enjoyed my time in second grade, but once again, a small class forced a move. A new reading position was available and I decided that this would be my new position. I have enjoyed sharing my love of reading with my students and take great joy in their accomplishments.
