Kris Halsne

I began teaching special education at Ballard in 1995, after earning my Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University. I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Drake in 2000. I live in Huxley with my husband, Kent, and our three daughters, Rylee, Regen, and Renna.

Working with students in high school is the best job in the world. I get to see them reach the important milestone of their high school graduation and have the opportunity to help guide them into the next phase of their lives. I feel very fortunate to have a job that I truly cherish every day.
