About Me

I am originally from Cedar Rapids, although Ames is now where I call home. I live in Ames with my husband Austin and our cat Huxley! I have two older brothers, two beautiful nieces and a handsome nephew! I most recently graduated from Drake University with my Master's Degree after graduating from Wartburg College in 2014 and absolutely loved both of my experiences! I currently teach 5th grade at Ballard East after spending 3 years teaching 6th grade at the middle school! I also previously taught 8^thgrade literacy and coached basketball. An interesting fact about me is that I am afraid of heights but went skydiving in Hawaii in 2012!
