2024-2Q: [EUP] Authorize.Net - Disable Auto Payment after Failed Bank Payment

Authorize.net is enhanced by adding a mechanism to turn off the ability for a customer to setup auto-pay when they have a failed bank payment .

Operator is now able to enable this functionality which will switch off auto payment when a customer has had a failed bank payments. fig.1.  Customer will need to sort out the issue with their bank and talk to a representative of the company who can re-enable the option from the customer account in SIMPLer. fig.2

To make use of this feature:

    1. menu Settings > Payment Gateways

    2. type 1 in the field for EUP_DISABLE_BANK_AUTO_PAY_SWITCH_ON_FAILURE

    3. save the change > Update Payment Gateways button

To enable auto-pay on the EUP for the customer:  

4. select 'modify'  on the customer account

  5. from the customer menu select > Banking details 

  6. section End User Portal Settings > turn 'on' the Ability To Enable Bank Auto-Payment 

   7. save the change > Update Customer button 


Customer is now able to setup Auto-pay again from their End User Portal (EUP).
