2023-2Q: [CRM] Send Email with Video Link to Customer

The electronic document feature has been enhanced to include the possibility to send customers an email containing video links. It allows for the user to quickly send customers an email with the video and a message.

To make use of this feature:

    1. The video should be accessible from YouTube or hosted on operators website

    2. Share the link to the video with Azotel team 

    3. Share text for the email with Azotel team 

    4. An Azotel engineer will assist with setting up the email template and embed the video link in the email send to customer


It is also possible for the operator to do the setup. This can be achieved by following the steps outlined next.

Create an electronic document:

 Select Settings from the main menu > Find the Miscellaneous section wiht the Electronic Documents

Prior to sending the video an email template should be created. Instructions for same, as follows:

Create  an Email Template

This is the text for the email body that will accompany the link to the video.

 Hover on Settings from the main menu > select Modify SPID from the dropdown

It is now possible to do a test and send the video to a test account within SIMPLer: 

Find the test customer account and proceed to the Electronic Document section - see fig. 2 

Click on 'Send document/ content to customer' link to complete the next steps:

    1. Select the option 'Send Document Only (No Signature)'

    2. Document To Send: select the 'Remove Equipment Video'

    3. Select the button 'Send Document'
