2023-2Q: [CRM] Customer Custom Tables: Import Data option
A new feature has been added to enhance the Customer Custom Table feature, that already exists within SIMPLer. It allows Operators to create their own defined tables under customer accounts, which can assist with tracking additional information that is not included in the main customer details sections, of the customer account [More on this can be found in the Operators Manual on our website www.azotel.com. Simply click on the documentation tab and in S04-01 SIMPLer Operator's General Manual. You will find it in Section 5.13].
Historically, you would have had to go to the 'Modify' link for the Custom Table, on the Customer's account. However, we have now added the ability to bulk import data from .csv files, for any Customer Custom Table.
To make use of this feature:
1. You would have already created your Customer Custom Table by going to Settings -> Custom Fields, on the top Menu bar
[Again, full steps on creating a Customer Custom Table can be found on our website www.azotel.com. Simply click on the documentation tab and in 'S04-01 SIMPLer Operator's General Manual'. You will find it in Section 5.13].

2. Once your Customer Custom Table has been created, it will look as follows, at the bottom of each customer account:

3. For the above Custom Table (and any other new Custom Tables you create), a new option will appear under 'Table to be populated', under Settings -> Import data, for the Custom Table. This will update automatically, so no setup is required:

4.1 From there, click 'Load Interface'
4.2 'These fields are mandatory:' are required fields that need to be used in the import, while you can select which of the 'Choose the additional fields to import from the CSV file:' you would like added
4.3 At the bottom of this page there is a 'helper', that displays a selected list of values for fields that are allowed for importing. For example, a user can't just upload any value into the 'Contract Length' field. The only valid entries for this field would be: 60 months, 48 months, 36 months, 27 months, 24 months, 18 months, 12 months.

6. NOTE: If a Custom Table that was added previously (before this new 'bulk import' feature was added) and doesn't appear under the 'Table to be populated'
dropdown, under Settings -> Import data, it is likely that the Custom Fields page just needs to be refreshed / Updated
7. Go to Settings -> Custom Fields and 'Update the 'Custom Fields' page and then try again
