School Counseling Website!  
School Counselors have a unique position that helps to address the academic, social/emotional, and career development for all students at AES. As a School Counselor, we perform the following roles in order to promote positive development in our students:
Individual counseling, Small group counseling, Classroom guidance (i.e. Large group          
counseling), Attend and participate in academic intervention meetings, Observe students in various school environment, Consult and collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, social workers, and students, and respond to school crises or emergency situations. Recently, we have been recognized a national RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) school by the American School Counseling Association.  We are one of 650 nationally and only 1 of 4 in the state of Ohio to receive this distinction!

School Counselor Update!!!
For Those of you who do not know, I'm back from maternity leave and back into the swing of things. If you need any help with anything, please don't hesitate to reach out and get a hold of me! I'm returning to cover all of Kindergarten and half of First Grade. -MRS. MILLS

Here at AES we are thrilled to welcome a new counselor, Mr. Jarod Thomas! Mr. Thomas comes to us from Austintown Middle School and is thrilled to join the AES family.  He will be covering half of First Grade and all of Second Grade! WELCOME MR. THOMAS!!!!
