Fashion Design

 Victoria Taylor has been the Department Chair for the Fashion Design program, since it was launched in Fall 2019 and received its accreditation in Spring 2020. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fashion Design from the University of North Texas with a minor in Marketing and Merchandising. Victoria worked in the Dallas market for many years and had various job experiences within the fashion industry including, customer service, designer assistant, first pattern maker, production pattern maker and Lectra Systems tech for marking and grading, to name a few. She has also been a successful business owner since she moved to Austin over 29 years ago and has worked with local and out of town companies as a freelance patternmaker and consultant. Victoria has been an instructor at ACC  since 2016  in the Continuing Education Fashion Program and was instrumental in helping develop the Fashion Design Certificate program for lifelong learners.  She works closely with her team to support and encourage the quality development of exceptional curriculum for the program. Her commitment to helping all students be successful and reach their goals will always be her first thoughts.
