ASD Update regarding school events, trips and athletics.

• All school events that bring the community into our schools are canceled. For example, All City Band Concert, PTO events, Literacy nights, and Chorus/Band concerts.

• All non-essential meetings involving the community are suspended. For example, Parent Advisory and New Superintendent Search Forums.

• All trips are being reviewed on a case by case basis. For example, the upcoming 7th grade trip to CMCC is canceled.

• School assemblies will not take place until further notice.

• School dances are canceled.

• All Winter Sports’ banquets planned for next week have been postponed.

• Custodians/Contracted Services are continuing to clean surfaces regularly.

• Staff is continuing to reinforce universal precaution measures such as regular hand washing, coughing and sneezing into the sleeve and staying home when you are sick.

• Buses will be disinfected after morning runs and afternoon runs.

• Please continue to communicate with your child’s principal if your child, yourself or a member of your family is being tested or treated for COVID-19, and/or if your child, yourself or a member of your family is self-observing for symptoms or in quarantine as directed by a PCP. We are working with CDC for guidance.
